The infamous DC10 is finally retiring today, on a flight from Dhaka to Birmingham. It has been flying ever since 1974 when it was invented by McDonnal Douglas. It was one of the aircraft that has been credited of shaping the modern aircraft industry. The American manufactured 'trijet' also had a dark side.
