Hello everybody. Here are reviews from different students and teachers, of their favourite pieces of design and why they like it.
Abang: I liked the height measuring art because it looks very artistic and you can see how tall people are. Mrs Thorpe: I really liked the key stage one things because they were really imaginative. Aaliyah: I really liked everything and I don't have a favourite because they were all so creative and fun. Sorry I don't a have very many opinions because most people I asked couldn't remember what they really liked and why Year 5 are selling cards this week.
The cards are R10 each. Remember to bring money to bye cards. We do reserve cards. This a card ⏬ Me, being a sloth of course, I hate winter.
That's when all of us freeze and fall of trees to our icy doom, but enough of that gory stuff, now we get back to our ISCT brains and out of our sloth brains. Ok so in ISCT right now we have to be wearing our winter uniform, this started last Monday! You: Last Monday!!!! I'm still in shorts and a t shirt And I'm thinking Me: I'm ready, I don't like winter, but I'm ready And that concludes another one of my exciting, funny, but exciting articles. And now I'm going to leave you with one of my faces that I came up with <o>________<o> #sloth face SEE YOU NEXT TIME :) On the 15th May 2014 is the Science Expo. Yrs 5 and 6 will be testing their science brains. They will be getting judged by teachers. There will be two winners from both Yr 5 classes. In Yr 6 the winners will go to regionals and those who are willing to see what it's like may be able to go.
Tomorrow is Open day.
If you don't know, Open day is when the house captains and prefects show parents around. Get ready. Make sure you don't have scruffy uniform and please make sure to polish your shoes! Try to remember... Not to be surprised when a guest comes into your classroom, simply say: "good morning" and "good bye"... Get exercising because one of our favourite days is coming up soon! It's the one day that where different Keystages join together as one and pant their way through a 5km. Sponsorship raised go towards the PTA and there is a special prize of a R200 Cavendish Voucher to the child who raises the most. It's on the 25th March 2014 the time is 10 : 30- 11: 30 I hope to see you there because , The Countdown Has BEGUN! It's almost holidays. 18 more days until school holidays!
We're back! Presenting the new media club. We have some new and old faces. The new group consists of: James de Panda, Jordan the sloth, Maka Maserati, Ruby Scribbles, Awesome Aaliyah, Abang de Googoolaa, Lulu the leopard, Joshua king of cars, Lovely Layla and Thulani the totally tiptop !
This week and next week Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 will be doing exams. Key Stage 2 are doing SATs and the high school will be doing proper exams. Whenever Key Stage 2 (us) are at break, we have to be really quiet so we don't disturb them. Today we had are spelling paper and tomorrow we will have reading comprehension.
We moved the tables so we couldn't cheat and we also only had a pencil and a rubber on our desks so we couldn't look at any possible pieces of paper, with the answers on which might be hidden in our pencil cases. We won't have our pencil cases with us because we are preparing for high school. In high school you have to pack what you need in a plastic, clear bag, so your teacher can check if you have brought any unwanted slips of paper with the answer on it to your lesson! So teachers are quite strict when it comes to exams, but I guess they have to if you want a good (and true) grade. |
