On the 28th of October a special event took place. Founders day! Every year, to celebrate the schools birthday, the high school will perform loads of hilarious acts to music, the Key Stage 2 choir will sing African songs and this year, the Key Stage One percussion band even played a well known South African tune. 2013 is the schools 15th anniversary and judging on what we've heard it was lots of fun! Imogen and Thomas, two year five students both thought that every one did a really good job and that the high school's acts were very funny. Imogen also described the piano piece as 'jaw dropping' and found the percussion immensely cute! Mrs. Harrower thought every one was great. She too enjoyed the piano solo and loved the choir's singing and dancing. She thought the year sevens costume's were hilarious and that the only thing that could have been done better was when the choir finished their songs and were a bit noisy. Mrs. Rhodes (Brenda) thought that all the music played was very professional and she loved the year 11 minstrels! She thinks that our school is doing really well but ' 1 or 2 ' more rooms would space it out a little bit. Last but not least, Mrs.Cilleirs. She would like to say well done to everyone for their 'excellent' performance. She felt that the whole thing was very joyful and exiting and would like to say thank you to Mr Moore for organising the whole thing. Thank you Mr Moore!
This year, founders day was very amusing and if you didn't come, well, be sure to come next year!
